Directions and Parking Information

The Duke Endowment is on the 35th floor of the Bank of America Corporate Center, at the intersection of Trade and Tryon streets in the center of uptown Charlotte. The Bank of America Corporate Center is a secured building and visitor access to upper floors, including the Endowment offices, requires an appointment and a photo I.D. Your contact at the Endowment can schedule your appointment, and you can clear building security at the desk on the northeast side of the elevator lobby.

Parking and Skywalk Information

Parking is available in the Corporate Center parking deck across College Street. You may park on any floor at any parking space that is not marked as reserved. Please remember to bring your parking ticket with you to The Duke Endowment to have it validated.

After parking, take the elevator (located front and center of each level) to the sixth level. Enter the Bank of America Building and walk through the corridor into the Bank of America Corporate Center. Walk through Founder’s Hall into the elevator lobby. Go to the Visitor Registration desk in the northwest corner of the lobby.

From I-77:

Take I-77 to I-277 (John Belk Freeway). Stay on the beltway until you reach the College Street exit. Take the College Street exit, which heads north one way, until you reach the Fifth Street intersection, which is the sixth stoplight. Turn right onto Fifth St. and the Corporate Center parking garage is on the right.

From I-85:

Take I-77 south to I-277 (John Belk Freeway). Stay on the beltway until you reach the College Street exit. Take the College Street exit, which heads north one way, until you reach the Fifth Street intersection, which is the sixth stoplight. Turn right onto Fifth St. and the Corporate Center parking garage is on the right.

From Independence Blvd./US 74:

Take John Belk Freeway to the Stonewall Street exit. Turn left onto Stonewall Street and go to the third stoplight, which is College Street. Turn right onto College Street and go to the Fifth Street intersection, at the fifth stoplight. The Corporate Center parking garage is on the right.

From Charlotte-Douglas International Airport:

Take Billy Graham Parkway North to I-85. Follow I-85 North to I-77. Take I-77 South to I-277 (John Belk Freeway). Stay on the beltway until you reach the College Street exit. Take the College Street exit, which heads north one way, until you reach the Fifth Street intersection, at the sixth stoplight. Turn right onto Fifth Street and the Corporate Center parking garage is on the right.
