  • The mission of Care Share Health Alliance is to improve the health of low-income, uninsured North Carolinians by supporting local collaborative networks of care. The website includes information about starting a collaborative.
  • If you don’t have health insurance and need non-emergency medical assistance, you can find resources through AccessHealth SC in South Carolina or NCHealthcareHelp in North Carolina.

  • The Henry J. Kaiser Family Foundation focuses on major health care issues by developing and running its own research and communications programs. The website includes recent documents on health care and the uninsured.
