Profiles of Service - Margarita Franco
As one of the first staff members of PASOs, Margarita Franco has spent the past five years helping Latino families in South Carolina overcome barriers to healthy lives. Now with support from the Greenville Hospital System and a grant from The Duke Endowment, she's helping PASOs cultivate community engagement to strengthen the Latino voice in health issues.
Her story is the latest in The Duke Endowment’s “Profiles of Service” series, which highlights “behind-the-scenes” staff and volunteers at grantee organizations in the Carolinas.
We invite you to watch a video and read more about Margarita, and meet others who are making a difference.
