  • Parents Anonymous is a national child abuse prevention organization with an international network of 267 accredited organizations and local affiliates. The website includes publications and research.
  • A service of the Children’s Bureau, Administration for Children and Families, U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, the Child Welfare Information Gateway provides access to information and resources. Topics on the website include child abuse and neglect, support and preserving families, adoption and out-of-home care.
  • The website of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services Administration for Children and Families features annual data as reported by all 50 states to the National Child Abuse and Neglect Data System (NCANDS). It includes data and statistics about types and incidences of abuse, victims, fatalities, perpetrators, services and other research.
  • In a 2008 report, The National Council on Crime and Delinquency studied whether Parents Anonymous reduces the risk of child maltreatment and, if so, if it reduces the risk for all parents or for some more than others. The council’s website includes a wealth of other research and publications.
