Description

This is an invitation-only event for representatives from Davidson College, Duke University, Furman University and Johnson C. Smith University participating in the Campus Sustainability Task Force.

Tim Profeta, head of the Nicholas Institute for Environmental Policy Solutions, will provide an update from the Copenhagen conference on climate change and discuss current legislative and regulatory issues.  A panel of experts will discuss biomass as a renewable energy source and members of several working groups will provide updates on issues relating to financing, purchasing, renewable energy sources and curricular/co-curricular activities.
