• The North Carolina Institute of Medicine provides information on issues related to the health of North Carolina's population. The website features health data and reports, including “Prevention for the Health of North Carolina: Prevention Action Plan.”
• The North Carolina State Center for Health Statistics is responsible for data collection and health-related research. The website features county-level statistics.
• The North Carolina Tobacco Prevention and Control Branch website includes information about evidence-based ways to reduce tobacco use in North Carolina.
• The N.C. Healthy Schools Initiative is supported and coordinated by the Department of Public Instruction and the Department of Health and Human Services. The website lists school resources and parent resources.

• The website for the Campaign for Tobacco Free Kids features information about federal and state initiatives, as well as state-by-state overviews of tobacco use.
• Trust for America’s Health works on a variety of issues and projects, including “The Healthier America Project.”
• The National Campaign to Prevent Teen and Unplanned Pregnancy has information for parents, teens, policymakers and communities. The website also lists state and national data.
