- Public/Private Ventures has conducted extensive research on the effectiveness of mentoring, and of Big Brothers Big Sisters community-based and school-based programs.
- For more than a decade, MENTOR/National Mentoring Partnership has been working to expand the world of quality mentoring. Use this site to find a mentoring opportunity, learn about successful programs, start a program or tap into resources and research.
- The California Evidence-Based Clearinghouse for Child Welfare provides child welfare professionals with research-based information about selected child welfare related programs.
- The Blueprints for Violence Prevention website contains summaries of several model programs (including Big Brothers Big Sisters) and promising programs that help prevent violence, drug abuse and crime.
