Yara Quezada

Yara L. Quezada

2021-2023 Fellow

Yara Quezada joined the Endowment in June as our 2021-22 Fellow, working in the Rural Church program area on the Summer Literacy Initiative. Yara graduated from Davidson College with a bachelor’s degree in Public Health. Her previous experience includes working as a Congregational Fellow at Beechmont Presbyterian Church in Louisville, serving as a Servant Leader Intern for Freedom Schools in Davidson, and working as a Summer Intern for the Urban Ministry Center in Charlotte. At Davidson, she was a Resident Adviser, a Student Health Adviser for the Health Education Office, and a Spanish Apprentice Teacher for the Hispanic Studies Department. Yara received both a Quest Scholarship and Golden Door Scholarship, which are awarded to high achieving high school students.
