An effort between The Duke Endowment, Duke Divinity School and North Carolina’s two United Methodist conferences is supporting churches in rural communities. Hayseville First United Methodist Church has always been a part of its small town, and its congregants serve others by providing meals, gathering for fellowship and working in the community.
