Lin B. Hollowell III

Director of Health Care

Lin Hollowell is director of the Health Care at The Duke Endowment, a Charlotte-based private foundation supporting philanthropic interests in North Carolina and South Carolina. As director, he is responsible for working with the Endowment’s board of trustees to establish funding priorities and manage a grants portfolio which seeks to expand access for vulnerable populations, promote healthy lifestyles and advance system reform.

Prior to joining The Duke Endowment in 2001, Lin worked in hospital administration for Prisma Health System with management responsibilities in strategic planning, market development and physician relations. Lin serves on boards and advisory committees for a number of community and philanthropic organizations as a Commissioner with the North Carolina Medical Care Commission.

Lin is a native of North Carolina and a graduate of Wake Forest University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business and a Master of Business Administration degree.
