In 2009, The Duke Endowment awarded more than $56 million in new grants to enrich lives and strengthen communities in North Carolina and South Carolina. In all, the Endowment distributed nearly $105 million in 2009, a total that includes ongoing multi-year commitments approved in previous years. View the news release.
