Duke University’s Senou Kounouho dreams of becoming an engineer. Thanks to the A.B. Duke Scholarship program, those dreams are fast becoming reality.

When he created The Duke Endowment in 1924, James B. Duke included support for higher education as one of his top philanthropic priorities. The Endowment continues that legacy of support through endowed scholarships at its four beneficiary schools. Those scholarships include the James B. Duke Scholars program at Davidson College, Furman University and Johnson C. Smith University and the Angier B. Duke and Benjamin N. Duke scholarships at Duke University. In this video series, recipients explain what receiving the scholarships have meant for them.
