Jay E. Kennedy

Kennedy joined the Endowment in 2017 after previously serving as a rural hospital program manager for the North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services, where he oversaw the Medicare Rural Hospital Flexibility Grant Program, the Small Rural Hospital Improvement Program, and the N.C. Statewide Telepsychiatry Program. Prior to his work in state government, he served as chief operating officer for the Maria Parham Medical Center in Henderson, N.C.
